What conference facilities are available?

With the capacity for 120 delegates theatre style, we offer premium facilities in a beautiful tropical setting certain to make an impact.

Conference Venues:

The resort has a conference room conveniently located in the main reception building.  The Lohrey room is an air conditioned venue that generously seats up to 120 theatre style or 64 cabaret style.  The room can be divided by an operable sound proof wall to create two venues if required, both seating up to 50 theatre style or 32 cabaret style

Audio Visual Equipment:

The Lohrey Room also features an in house sound system and option for ceiling mounted data projection. Lectern, hand held and lapel microphones, flipcharts and whiteboard are all available for hire on request.

Day Delegate Packages:

There are half and full day delegate packages available or we can tailor a package to suit your particular conferencing needs.

What is included in your day delegate packages?

Based on 30 delegates, our half day package includes venue hire, morning or afternoon tea and a light working lunch buffet. Full day packages include morning and afternoon teas and a stand up light working lunch buffet. Catering menus can be tailored to suite and feature a selection of bakery and savoury items for morning and afternoon teas and lunches that reflect the best of the regions’ local products.

Where is the catering served?

Outside the Lohrey room is an air-conditioned conservatory where catering buffets are set. The conservatory leads on to a terrace deck accessed by floor to ceiling folding glass doors, granting spectacular water views so delegates can relax and refocus in fresh air and sunshine during catering breaks. You have the option for a more formal seated lunch menu if required as Tides deck and Tides Pavilion can both seat up to 30 delegates with a lunch buffet or plated main course menu.

What accommodation is available for our delegates?

Our accommodation includes 95 beautifully appointed one, two and three bedroom spa apartments with spectacular elevated water views from wide breezy balconies, a feature of every room at the resort. 

One bedroom spa apartment – These fully self contained apartments feature a spacious master bedroom with a king bed, writing desk and wall mounted flat screen television. Adjoining the master bedroom is a spectacular ensuite with two vanity basins and a luxury 2 person spa bath, large walk in shower, toilet and a walk in closet with generous hanging space and shelving.  The king bed can be configured into two single beds for convenient twin share sleeping.

Two bedroom spa apartment – As well as the all the features of a one bedroom spa apartment, our two bedroom apartments have a spacious second bedroom also with a king bed (zip) and an ensuite with walk in shower, single vanity and toilet. While air conditioned, wooden louvers provide natural lighting and breezes enhancing the tropical Queensland design of the resort.  The king bed can be configured into two single beds for convenient twin share sleeping.

Three bedroom spa apartment – As well as the all the features of our one and two bedroom spa apartments, these rooms have a second master bedroom with a queen bed, television and large ensuite with a walk in shower, spacious closet and toilet.

Do you offer discounts for group stays?

We offer any guests who are attending a business event a special discounted rate on our one, two and three bedroom spa apartments. These rates will be confirmed when contracting on your business event details and will be valid for the duration of their stay for this special event.

Bookings can be made on line or resort direct or the resort can create a personalised rooming list or booking form to send to your delegates for quick and easy accommodation bookings direct with our resort reservations team. Rates in a one bedroom start from $236 per night* including breakfast in Tides Restaurant daily. *Conditions apply and rates are subject to availability at time of booking

What team building options are available?

Team building activities are plentiful in the Whitsundays and form a crucial part of any successful event, conference or convention.  From a golf championship day on Hamilton Island to cooking classes in Tides Restaurant, we can find the perfect way to get the team working together. With the Whitsunday islands literally in our front yard there is also every imaginable beach, pool and water activity available depending on your choice of activity and adventure.

On Daydream Island Resort & Spa groups can learn about their surroundings from a marine biologist and even have the chance to hold a baby shark and pat a friendly stingray!

Dent Island offers Australia's only island championship golf course and with stunning 360 views of the Whitsunday islands a corporate golf event becomes something out of the ordinary.

Tall Ship sailing or adrenaline fueled Ocean Rafting and Jetskiing trials make the most of the watery playground in the Whitsundays.
